President Ryszard Kardasz notes that the company delivers solutions that make it possible to bolster the national security, and that these deliveries additionally make it possible for the Polish economy to get in a better shape. PCO S.A. products are being used both by the Polish Army, as well as by the uniformed services.
Another anniversary celebrated at our company shows that it is worth to actively develop the PCO S.A.’s potential, in accordance with our tagline: “Innovation for security”. By designing and manufacturing modern optronic devices, we have a chance to support the national economy and to enhance the national security at the same time.
During the 39th Anniversary event, the awards were received by the employees who contributed to the development of the company.
PCO S.A. realizes a series of development projects, the aim of which is to maintain further expansion of the company’s potential. The company acts as the integrator and the leader of the consortium which is developing the Polish “Tytan” future soldier system which would interconnect, among other elements, thermal vision sights developed by the PCO S.A. company. The manufacturer is also carrying out works, the aim of which is to develop thermal vision systems for the Polish Leopard 2 tanks and for the unmanned turrets which will be used by the Rosomak wheeled APC.
PCO has been founded back in 1976. Due to the economic transformation which took place in Poland between the 1980’s and 1990’s, in 1994 the company was transformed into a Treasury joint-stock company ran by a single person, under the name of „Przemysłowe Centrum Optyki Spółka Akcyjna”. Currently the company is a part of the Polish Armament Group.
