The Armament Inspectorate, on 20th January 2016, concluded an agreement pertaining procurement and retrofitting of the “Śnieżnik” small arms training/simulator systems.

The contract covering the above procurement programme has been signed by and between the Armament Inspectorate, and the following consortium: Military Institute Of Armament Technology, based in Zielonka and AUTOCOMP MANAGEMENT Sp. z o.o., based in Stettin.

Within the scope of the agreement, the value of which is defined as ca. PLN 93 million, procurement, installation and initial usability, operational and maintenance training programmes covering the guarantee and post-guarantee period, are contained.

Śnieznik is a stationary training system, used to conduct learning, monitoring and assessment processes, preparing the soldiers to be involved in live-fire training exercises at “open” shooting ranges. Its layout depends on the operational requirements defined by the user, hence it may be used to simulate pistols, rifles (BERYL carbine), machine guns (UKM-2000), sniper rifles, anti-tank weaponry, grenade launchers and light mortars.
