PIT-RADWAR S.A. has carried out tests of the programmable ammunition developed within the scope of the “35 mm Anti-Aircraft Battery Programme”. The tests included shooting at airborne targets with the use of TP-T training rounds and programmable rounds as well.

The test firing was carried out with involvement of the AG-35 cannon for programmable rounds, and, simultaneously, with the use of A-35 and AG-35 cannons, when the TP-T rounds were being used.

The test programme turned out to be successful as all of the targets were hit, according to the test assumptions. The live fire testing confirmed the mastering of technologies required to create a programmable 35 mm rounds system.

The Polish defence industry is ready to introduce rounds as such into use, along with a qualification test programme. System as such could be used in modern 35 mm AAA systems.
