Strategic communication and Poland-France relations
In this Defence24 interview, Adam Hsakou, correspondent for Le Figaro, reflects on the role of strategic communication in the context of Russia’s war against Ukraine. He explains how clear messaging, both domestically and internationally, is crucial to maintaining unity and countering disinformation campaigns.
Hsakou also highlights the deepening ties between Poland and France, noting that the war has accelerated cooperation across politics, defence, and media narratives. These stronger relations, he argues, are shaping the broader regional response to security challenges on NATO’s eastern flank.
Finally, he emphasises that building resilient partnerships in Central and Eastern Europe will be essential not only to support Ukraine but also to prepare the region for long-term pressures from Russia. Effective communication, according to Hsakou, is just as important as military capabilities in ensuring stability.
