IBCS proposed to integrate the Polish Air Defence

What IBCS does is it esentially componentizes the command and control of weapon systems like Patriot, and replaces that command and control. It creates one command and control system for multiple weapon system – as William Lamb, Northrop Grumman told

In the US, IBCS will be used to connect various layers of the Army Integrated Air Defence architecture, to include Patriot and short range systems, within one unified C2 systems, enabling “any sensor, best shooter engagements”. A similar integration is proposed to Poland, as Warsaw has already purchased IBCS for its Patriot batteries within Wisła projects. Thus, as William Lamb told Defence24, sensors and effectors that Poland would purchase within Narew SHORAD project could be integrated into IBCS.
