Karolina Kisiel is currently completing her Master’s degree in War and Defence Studies at the Swedish Defence University. Her main academic focus is the kinetic dimension of Russia’s hybrid warfare across Europe. Her broader research interests include Russia’s military strategy, European defence, Baltic Sea security, and transatlantic relations. Karolina has gained experience through placements at the U.S. House of Representatives (Transatlantic Future Leaders Forum), the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Warsaw, and the European Parliament. She is also actively engaged with EPIS Think Tank, where she serves as a Working Group Leader for International Relations and Diplomacy, as well as with Youth Atlantic Treaty Association Sweden.
