Mateusz Mitkow – expert on space issues, the development of the Polish space sector and new technologies in the context of security and defence. He also deals with geopolitics, international security and the global technology race. Since 2021, he has been publishing analyses and articles on space policy and industry in Poland and worldwide.
He graduated in European Studies and holds a master's degree in Internal Security with a specialisation in crisis management from the University of Warsaw. He has participated in international conferences such as Defence24 Days, the International Astronautical Congress, Globstate and the Space Sector Forum, as well as industry seminars on space technologies, including ‘Secure Communications for Poland – Opportunities and Prospects’ and ‘Development of Multi-Domain Capabilities in the Polish Armed Forces’.
He provides expert commentary for Polish and foreign media and conducts interviews with leading representatives of the space industry in Poland and Europe. Since 2024, he has been the editor-in-chief of Space24.pl.
