“We will end this very quickly. We are very close,” said Donald Trump, referring to the conclusion of OperationEpic Fury. He described the war, which has been ongoing for over a month, as a “swift, decisive, and overwhelming victory.”

According to him, U.S. forces are now close to achieving the strategic objectives of the operation. A post on the White House’s profile on platform X stated that Iran’s missile arsenal and navy had been destroyed. It also reported the elimination of Iran’s terrorist proxies and asserted that Iran would no longer be capable of developing nuclear weapons. The U.S. president added that Iran’s ability to conduct attacks using drones and ballistic missiles had been significantly reduced.

The speech did not include any specific date for a possible end to the war. However, Trump announced that within two to three weeks, the United States would “strike Iran hard, and that country will return to the Stone Age.” At the same time, he emphasized that negotiations with the new Iranian regime are currently underway. He also reminded that if no agreement is reached, American forces will strike “every Iranian power plant.”

This time, Trump’s remarks did not include any mention of NATO or a possible U.S. withdrawal from the North Atlantic Alliance.
