The growing presence of Canadian industry at MSPO reflects the rapidly expanding defence cooperation between Poland and Canada. This topic was among the key issues discussed during the CANSEC exhibition in Ottawa, attended by Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

During meetings with Canadian partners, the Minister encouraged Canadian companies to participate in MSPO and further develop their investments in Poland. It was also confirmed that several important agreements are planned to be signed during the September exhibition in Kielce, including a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the cyber defence forces of Poland and Canada, as well as a bilateral defence guarantees agreement.

Canada’s Minister of National Defence, David McGuinty, has confirmed his attendance at MSPO 2026. Canada’s Minister of International Trade, Maninder Sidhu, is also expected to participate. The presence of high-ranking Canadian government officials highlights the strategic importance of this year’s edition of the exhibition.

Canada is playing an increasingly significant role in strengthening defence industrial cooperation across NATO, particularly in the areas of emerging technologies, interoperability, and cybersecurity. MSPO 2026 is expected to serve as a key platform for further enhancing industrial and military cooperation between transatlantic partners.

MSPO 2026 will take place from 8 to 11 September at Targi Kielce. Organisers are preparing what is expected to be the largest edition in the event’s history. For the first time, exhibitors and visitors will have access to a newly built exhibition hall, significantly expanding the available exhibition space. According to current projections, the number of exhibitors may exceed 900, while the total exhibition area is expected to surpass 40,000 square metres.
