Defence Industry is Looking Forward to The MSPO 2015 Expo in Poland

The upcoming edition of the International Defence Industry Exhibition is going to continue the tradition of the previous ones: it will include presentation of the latest technological achievements in the defence sector. Kielce fair which is scheduled to happen in September will host representatives of the state authorities from all around the world; they will get acquainted with the expo in order to become familiar with the latest developments in the defence sector.

The 23rd International Defence Industry Exhibition is planned to be held from 1st to 4th September 2015; the expo promises to be a record-breaking event. All signs show that the MSPO fair will be in the centre of attention for the world's major defence industry companies.

MSPO - a global brand

The International Defence Industry Exhibition is the most important exhibition of the defence industry in this part of Europe and the third largest trade show on the Old Continent; ranked after Paris and London. This is the only Poland's business sector event; every year the event held in Kielce attracts several thousand visitors  from all corners of the world. Among the guests there are heads of state, official delegations including representatives of embassies, ministries of defence, senior representatives of the army staffs and the government-level defence bodies, from home and abroad.  Once again the MSPO will be held under the auspices of the Republic of Poland President Bronislaw Komorowski.

MSPO is the presentation platform for all kinds and segments of military gear and equipment; engineering troops' equipment, artillery, and anti-aircraft missile systems, reconnaissance systems and  logistics equipment. This year's edition will feature, among others, modern communications equipment, ITC systems, emergency rescue systems, defence schemes against weapons of mass destruction to be used by the Border Guards, the Police, Fire Services and Civil Defence Services.

National Exhibition of Norway

The MSPO's tradition is to include Lead Nations' Exhibitions. These Exhibitions have been a part of the Expo since 2004. Until now Germany, France, Israel, the USA, Sweden, the V4 Group Countries, Great Britain, Italy and Turkey have presented their military potentials. The 2015 MSPO edition will feature Norway in the National Defence Industry Exhibition .

Conferences,  seminars and meetings

MSPO is much more than the exhibition, its programme also encompasses seminars and congresses, meetings and demonstrations and numerous side events. They provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, to expand knowledge about the latest military technology solutions, to establish contacts and relations as well as to hold talks between the defence industry, the armed forces and government administration.

Last year's record-breaking edition

Last year MSPO was record-breaking event in every respect. In 2014, for the first time in the expo history, the exhibition area exceeded 25,000 sqm. The trade show attracted well over 15,000 visitors; the expo was the showcase for more than 500 companies from 27 countries. The number of substantive, problem-focussed  meetings had also risen to crescendo at MSPO 2014. The Expo programme encompassed almost 40 seminars and  congresses; they provide an ideal opportunity to exchange experiences, to expand knowledge about the latest military technology solutions. Not only did the 22nd edition attract the all-times record of visitors to the Kielce exhibition and congress centre; there were also  hundreds of media representatives. The Targi Kielce Press Office  accredited over 400 journalists.
