Poland has Started 2015 Military Qualification
This year’s assessment of potential soldiers is to include ca. 270 000 persons and it is going to be executed soon, starting from 2nd February until 30th April this year.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the qualification procedures carried out this year shall include:
-Men, born in 1996,
-Men born in the period between 1991 and 1995, who have not had their active military service ability assessed,
-Women, born between 1991 and 1996, whose qualification could be useful in the active military service,
-Women, who finish their education in 2014/2015 academic or school year, with majors in medicine, veterinary and psychology, as well as female students and graduates with these majors,
-Persons who are over 18 and volunteered to serve in the military, should they not have their active service ability assessed and declared so far.
The qualification process is to be carried out by the by the Voiviodes, involving chiefs of the Voivodeship Military Staffs and Starostes, Commune Heads, Mayors or Presidents of the cities. When it comes to assessment itself, it will be carried out by voivodeship and district medical commissions.
