When it comes to armoured equipment, Poland is the leader in the number of tanks transferred. Furthermore, Poland serves as a maintenance hub for Leopard 2A4 tanks operated by Ukraine, as well as for at least some tanks of the T-72 family.

Poland is also a key member of the EUMAM mission, aimed at training Ukrainian soldiers. The EUMAM headquarters are located in Poland. Thanks to this mission, four times as many Ukrainian troops have been trained as originally planned, now totaling around 60,000 soldiers, with one-third trained by Polish troops and officers.

Poland also functions as a strategic corridor for aid deliveries to Ukraine. According to the Ministry of National Defence, over 90% of military aid shipments to Ukraine pass through Polish territory. Thus, Poland provides strategic depth for Ukraine in terms of logistics, industrial support, and training.
