In the face of ongoing geopolitical tensions and rising defense spending in Europe, the 33rd edition of the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) is becoming one of the key industry events in this part of the world. From September 2 to 5, 2025, Targi Kielce will once again host presentations of cutting-edge military technologies, international expert meetings, and the signing of strategic arms contracts.

MSPO in Numbers

Although the event is still three months away, over 400 companies from 31 countries have already confirmed their participation, occupying nearly 30,000 m².  The exhibition will span eight halls and outdoor areas. This year’s edition is held under the Honorary Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, with the PGZ as its strategic partner. The event is supported by, among others, the Ministry of National Defence, the Armament Agency, and other military institutions. Numerous foreign delegations have also announced their attendance.

Europe Increases Defense Spending – MSPO in the Spotlight

Amid rising threats and ongoing destabilization in Eastern Europe, NATO countries, including Poland, are significantly boosting their defense budgets. „We’re entering a decade of intensive re-armament. MSPO fits perfectly into this trend. Our country currently allocates a record-high level of resources—over 4 percent of GDP—to developing our armed forces. This attracts the attention of manufacturers, decision-makers, and experts from around the world,” says Dr. Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Management Board of Targi Kielce.

The exhibition is not only a showcase for technological innovations but also a platform for strategic dialogue that reflects the current needs of allied armies.

Modern Armed Forces – A NATO-Branded Exhibition

As part of MSPO 2025, the 26th Armed Forces Exhibition, titled „Modern Armed Forces Create a Strong and Secure Future,” will take place. Coordinated by the Inspectorate for Support of the Armed Forces and prepared with the involvement of over a thousand Polish military personnel, the display will offer an opportunity to present Poland’s operational capabilities, weapon systems, and modernization achievements within NATO structures.

The MSPO 2025 programme will also include conferences, industry seminars, and a visit from military attachés accredited to Poland.

Awards and Contracts

An important element of MSPO is honoring the best products and innovations in the defence industry. Awards to be presented include:

The President of the Republic of Poland’s Award (the highest MSPO distinction), the Special Award of the Minister of National Defence, the Defender Award, various distinctions conferred by Chiefs and Commanders of the branches of the Armed Forces

As every year, significant contracts and defense agreements are also anticipated, including the continuation of cooperation between the Polish industry and foreign partners.
