Trump has a list of “naughty” NATO members
There is said to be a list of “nice” and “naughty” NATO allies at the White House. Could being placed in the latter group come with specific consequences?

The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly maintaining a list of NATO members divided into “model” allies and those who do not qualify for that category.
The “Naughty List” of Allies
According to information obtained by Politico, the White House continues its efforts to find ways to “punish” those NATO member states that, in Washington’s view, are not sufficiently engaged in the alliance’s activities. Particular scrutiny is said to have been directed at countries that officially refused to assist the Americans during Operation “Epic Fury.”
As reported, the review of member states’ engagement within the alliance—and the division into levels of loyalty—was allegedly conducted by U.S. officials prior to the NATO Secretary General’s visit to Washington, which took place from April 8 to 12. It remains unclear, however, whether Mark Rutte had the opportunity to review the compiled list.
Who is on the list?
Although the exact list of countries is unknown, based on previous statements from U.S. administration officials, it can be assumed that among the “model allies” are Poland and Romania. Poland is reportedly being recognized for meeting NATO’s minimum defense spending requirements and for its ongoing cooperation with the United States (the presence of 10,000 U.S. Army soldiers along the Vistula River is co-financed by Poland).
Romania’s “standing” has recently improved following its logistical support for the United States in the war with Iran. Bulgaria is also said to have been involved in providing assistance. How might the U.S. show its appreciation? One of the options reportedly under consideration is the deployment of additional American troops.
