During the Eurosatory 2024 event, the WB Group signed a memorandum on integrating the ZMU-03/05 module with rockets offered by Thales Belgium. This system can also be utilized in a counter-UAS role.

A memorandum was signed by and between WB Electronics and Arex (both part of the WB Group, and Thales Polska and Thales Belgium. The memorandum covers the potential upgrade of the Polish-made ZMU-03/05 RCWS solutions - the Polish turrets may now be integrated with the Thales’s rockets.

Heavy machine guns are the primary weapon of the ZMU-03/05 modules for now. ZMU-03 featuring such a weapon was integrated onto the PIAP Hunter UGV. However, the weapons stations in question can also carry machine guns, automatic grenade launchers, and automatic cannons, with calibres ranging from 5.56 to 40 mm.

ZMU-03/05 systems are also modular, which facilitates the repairs and maintenance. The weapons stations in question are lightweight as well. They have been fitted with dual stabilization systems for the weapons and optoelectronics, and modern optoelectronic sensors. They may be integrated on wheeled and tracked, manned, or unmanned platforms.
