The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has published photos of the wreckage of one of the downed UAVs, which is most likely a Polish Tiguar M.

The information was first reported by Babak Taghvaee, a former contributor to outlets including the BBC. According to his post, the photos of the wreckage show a Polish Tiguar M (the military version of the civilian Tiguar drone) fitted in an improvised manner with a Starlink or Starshield terminal, used for beyond line-of-sight (BLOS) communication.

The Tiguar M is a light-class tactical unmanned aerial vehicle designed and manufactured by the Polish company uAvionics.

In April 2026, soldiers from the 1st US Special Forces Group tested Tiguar M drones during the Balikatan 2026 exercises in the Philippines. The exercises focused specifically on long-range communication capabilities and operations in infrastructure-constrained environments.
