During his visit, Duda was accompanied by Maciej Lew-Mirski, PGZ’s Member of the Board, and by President of the Board at the Rosomak S.A facility, Adam Janik. Up until now the facility in question has manufactured 760 vehicles, out of which 720 were delivered to the Polish Army, while 40 remaining ones were exported. President Duda got himself acquainted with the numerous variants of the vehicle manufactured at the Siemanowice Śląskie-based plant.
The export versions have been ordered by the Patria company, with an intention of delivering them to the United Arab Emirates. At the moment preparations are taking place to prepare an upgrade programme for the Polish Rosomak vehicles in the combat variant, inter alia through integration of Hitfist-30 turrets with the Spike-LR ATGM launchers.
