More US money for Poland
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz signed another agreement with the US for financial support under the Foreign Military Financing program.
The agreement is worth $4 billion, and as Defence24 has learned from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, the money from this FMF package will most likely be allocated to programs such as the purchase of AH-64E Apache attack helicopters, Wisła (Patriot) air defense systems, and the modernization of F-16C/D Block 52+ aircraft to a more modern standard.

Let us recall, that this is already the fifth loan under the FMF program. Previously, agreements were signed for similar loans: on September 25, 2023, for USD 2 billion, on July 1, 2024, also for USD 2 billion, on October 1, 2024, for USD 3.08 billion, and on December 5, 2024, for USD 4 billion. The total value of all loans under the FMF program is USD 15.08 billion, bearing in mind that repayment of FMF loans is on preferential terms. Furthermore, the US government wants to continue cooperation in this format, emphasizing that it is beneficial for both sides.
