Through his account on the X platform, Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda provided an update on the results of a meeting between PGZ (Polish Armaments Group), MBDA, and the Armaments Agency.

The main focus was the commencement of execution contracts related to the NAREW program, specifically the delivery of CAMM-ER missiles adapted to the IBCS system and the iLaunchers. The contracts were signed back in 2023 subject to several conditions which were fulfilled now.

The Deputy Minister also mentioned a “key aspect of technology and knowledge transfer, ensuring production and development of the system based on the Polish industry and cooperation with the British MBDA” in his post.

It was previously reported that another meeting of working groups from Poland, the UK and the US on the division of labour regarding the integration of CAMM-ER launchers and missiles into the IBCS system took place in the second half of the year. From the UK side, there has also been a recent announcement of £9bn (around PLN 46bn) of loan guarantees related to the Narew programme. This presumably relates to loans for the Armed Forces Support Fund, to finance the Narew project (worth around PLN 54 billion in total as it regards to the procurement of missiles and launchers)
