Mirage and Blackhawk on the parade

In the parade organised to celebrate the Polish Armed Forces Day spectators will be able to watch about 1200 Polish soldiers and almost 100 paratroopers from Canada and the USA. Apart from the Polish equipment visitors to the parade will see guests from America - UH-60 Black Hawk - and France - Mirage-2000 fighter aircrafts.

According to the information released by the Ministry of National Defence, the main national ceremony to the Polish Armed Forces Day and 94th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw will start at 12:00 at Marshal Jozef Pilsudski Monument (next to the Belvedere Palace.) Once the ceremony is over, a parade will begin with a flight of 7 TS-11 Iskra aircrafts of the White and Red Sparks Acrobatic Team.

They will be followed by:

- SW-4 helicopters - 6 pcs

- W-3 "Sokół" helicopters - 4 pcs

- Mi-17 and Mi-8 helicopters - 4 pcs in total

- Mi-24 helicopters - 4 pcs

American army UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters - 2 pcs (based at the 12th Air Base in Miroslawiec)

- M-28 Bryza aircrafts - 4 pcs

- C-295 M transport aircrafts - 3 pcs

- C-295 M (2 pcs) and C-130 Hercules (2 pcs) transport aircrafts

- PZL-130 Orlik aircrafts - "Orlik" Acrobatic Team - 6 pcs

MiG-29 (2 pcs) and Su-22 (2 pcs) aircrafts

- F-16 multitask aircrafts - 4 pcs

- French Air Force aircrafts - Mirage 2000 - 2 pcs (based at the 22nd Tactical Air Base in Malbork)

After the air parade the visitors will be presented with infantry and cavalry units marching along the Ujazdow Avenue in the following order:

- Land Forces;

- Air Force;

- Navy;

- Military Police;

- 6th Airborne Brigade;

- 10th Armoured Cavalry Brigade;

- 21st Podhale Rifle Highland Brigade;

- Military University of Technology;

- Polish Naval Academy;

- Military Academy of Land Forces;

- Polish Air Force Academy;

- units from Canada and the United States of America;

- Ceremonial Battalion of the Polish Armed Forces;

- historical units;

- Representative Cavalry Squadron of the Polish Armed Forces;

The above mentioned units will be followed by the following military equipment:

- MG motorcycle - 5 pcs

- MG intervention vehicle - Skoda Octavia - 2 pcs

- MG intervention vehicle - VW Crafter - 2 pcs

- MG intervention vehicle - Land Rover Soft - 2 pcs

- MG intervention vehicle - Land Rover Hard - 2 pcs

- MG command vehicle - TIWD - 2 pcs

- Quad ARCTIC CAT; Quad POLARIS; Quad BOMBARDIER – 7 pcs

 - NIL MU quad - 1 pc

- HMMWV of Special Forces - 3 pcs

- Mercedes Gelandewagen – 3 pcs

- Toyota Hilux – 3 pcs

- SKORPION-3 armoured vehicle - 6 pcs

- Unmanned aerial vehicle presented on other vehicles (multi-purpose vehicles HMMWV M1097A2) - 2 pcs

- Multi-purpose vehicle HMMWV - 6 pcs

- Wheeled Armoured Carrier „ROSOMAK” - 14 pcs

- Wheeled Armoured Carrier „ROSOMAK” -WEM - 2 pcs

- Artillery support radar „LIWIEC” - 2 pcs

- Self-propelled howitzer 152mm "DANA" - 6 pcs

- Multiple-launcher rocket system WR-40 „LANGUSTA” - 6 pcs

- Open vehicle - operators with „GROM” missile / STAR - 2 / pcs

- Self-propelled anti-aircraft gun „HIBNERYT” - 4 pcs

- Self-propelled surface-to-air missile system „OSA” - 6 pcs

- Wheeled command truck „ŁOWCZA-3K” - 2 pcs

- Remote-controlled self-propelled mine roller „BOŻENA" mounted on Star trailer - 2 pcs

- Armoured vehicle-launched bridge MS 20 „DAGLEZJA” - 2 pcs

- IVECO ambulance - 4 pcs

- Leopard 2A5 main battle tank - 14 pcs

- Self-propelled howitzer 155mm "KRAB" - 6 pcs

- „KROTON” minelayer - 2 pcs

- WZT-3 armoured recovery vehicle - 1 pc

- BPz-2 (Berger Panzer) armoured recovery vehicle - 1 pc

- Skoda Octavia - Military Gendarmerie vehicles that will secure and close the parade.

After the parade further ceremonies will take place in Agricola Parc and at Mysliwiecka St., Museum of the Polish Army and Museum of Polish Military Technology - Czerniakow Fortress (Fort IX Czerniakow). Not only will the visitors have the opportunity to see military equipment and  vehicles but also historical reconstructions and museum exhibitions.
