“We Will Immediately Destroy Warsaw, Cracow, Gdańsk”

The Belarusian opposition channel Nexta has warned that during a recent broadcast of Vladimir Solovyov’s program, the host once again threatened Poland with a nuclear strike by the Russian Federation.

„This is a threat to Russia (referring to military training in Poland – editor’s note). Why would they attack Kaliningrad? I see no point in that. In their place, I would first strike Belarus. But Kaliningrad would open a second front. They must, so to speak, deactivate our soldiers« ability to respond. How will they think? They will want to immediately transform the war into a conventional one, so that we do not use nuclear weapons against the territory of the Soviet Union (sic!). They do not understand that in such a case we will immediately destroy Warsaw, Kraków, and Gdańsk. We will destroy them. Completely and immediately,” Solovyov stated.

It should be noted that this marks the second recent Kremlin-linked media provocation targeting Poland. As reported by the Russian-language investigative outlet „Meduza”, the Kremlin alleged that one of the would-be assassins of a senior GRU officer, Lyubomir Korba, had supposedly been recruited by „Polish intelligence services, which took part in recruiting the actual perpetrator of the crime, Lyubomir Kora, through his son, Polish citizen Lubos Korba.”

As is widely known, „Lubos” is not a traditional Polish name. The anti-Polish narrative continues to be amplified across Russian state media.
