Russian university in flames

According to Ukrainska Pravda, “the university was developing an automated UAV control system based on the Milandr microprocessor. It was reportedly intended for ‘civilian purposes,’ including monitoring power lines, heating pipelines and conducting aerial photography.”

The Wildberries centre plays a key role in the distribution of goods between the Moscow region and the central, north-western and northern parts of Russia. Wildberries’ infrastructure has been targeted by Ukrainian attacks since mid-July this year.

The company’s facilities have already been attacked in locations including Elektrostal in the Moscow Oblast, Kotovsk in the Tambov Oblast, Krasnodar, Nevinnomyssk, Simferopol in Crimea, and in the Voronezh, Penza and Ryazan regions.

The primary aim of these attacks is to weaken the infrastructure supporting Russian military operations. Dual-use goods, including electronics, navigation equipment and other components used by the Russian defence industry and in drone production, were stored in the company’s warehouses. Wildberries itself is Russia’s largest online trading platform, handling millions of orders daily and serving as a key element of the country’s e-commerce sector.
