Iran’s supreme leader in critical condition
Reportedly, Supreme Leader of Iran Mojtaba Khamenei is in extremely critical condition and could pass away at any moment. Rumours about his health are circulating at the highest levels of the regime.
According to Iran Wire, two sources close to the Pezeshkian administration have said that Mojtaba Khamenei has not met with any cabinet members since the US attack on the Supreme Leader’s compound and the killing of his father and other family members at the beginning of the Iran War on February 28.
Both sources claim that rumours about Khamenei being in extremely critical condition are circulating within the highest levels of the regime. The Supreme Leader’s state is reportedly so dire that he could pass away at any moment. Mojtaba Khamenei is yet to appear publicly since his assumption of the leadership after his father’s death in American and Israeli attacks. The prolonged absence fuels speculation regarding the Supreme Leader’s health and possible death. A source close to Pezeshkian’s cabinet confirmed that no cabinet members have met with Mojtaba Khamenei so far due to his poor physical condition. The source stated that “we would not be surprised if we heard news of his martyrdom soon.”
We’ve already published several articles regarding Mojtaba Khamenei’s health. His condition has seemed to be at least poor since the attack on February 28. There is a high likelihood that the Supreme Leader has been dead for some time now. Tehran could be deliberately keeping that information hidden in order to protect Iranian morale from collapsing.
