Natalia Adrianna Potera, PhD, is a political scientist and analyst at Defence24. She specializes in regional security, with a focus on Türkiye, the Middle East, and the Caucasus.
She earned her PhD from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, where her research examined the role of middle powers in the contemporary international order, particularly within the MIKTA framework. She also holds a BA in International Relations (Diplomacy and Consular Relations) and an MA with a focus on the Middle East from the same university.
Her analytical work covers political transformation, migration, and their impact on national security, as well as EU foreign policy and energy security. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on key challenges in contemporary international relations.
Her experience includes international research projects at institutions such as the European Parliament, as well as programs in Türkiye, the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Korea.She previously taught at the British University in Georgia, where she delivered courses in political theory, international law, and security studies, among others.
